CORPORATE SAFETY MANAGEMENT POLICY

Safety is the first priority in all our activities.

LLC “AeroStan” Air Company” is committed to implementing, developing and improving strategies, management systems and processes to ensure that all our aviation activities uphold the highest level of safety performance and meet national and international standards.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO:

  • develop, implement, maintain and constantly improve our safety management system to ensure that all our activities are performed under a balanced allocation of organizational resources, aimed at achieving the highest level of safety, while delivering our services;
  • comply with and, wherever possible, exceed, legislative and regulatory requirements and standards;
  • support our safety management system through the provision of all necessary resources including financial, sufficiently skilled and trained personnel, encouraging safety through quality, improving communication between all departments;
  • continually improve our performance and ensure that relevant corrective actions are taken and are effective;
  • establish and measure our performance against realistic safety performance indicators;
  • continually improve the risk-based approach, apply and promote hazard identification and risk management processes, including a hazard reporting system, to eliminate or reduce safety risks;
  • ensure that our service providers and services that support our operations meet our safety standards;
  • clearly define safety responsibilities in assigned duties for each position in our company;
  • ensure that no disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who discloses a safety or compliance concern through the voluntary reporting system, unless such disclosure indicates, beyond any reasonable doubt, an illegal act, gross negligence, or a deliberate or willful disregard of regulations or procedures;
  • guarantee the protection of the source of information of confidential voluntary reports;
  • ensure this Policy is reviewed and, if necessary, revised yearly.

In order to ensure safety, in its activities LLC “AeroStan” Air Company” adheres to the following principles:

SENIOR MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT TO SAFETY. Senior Management of the organization ensure that all aspects of service provision meet the safety performance targets.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY. General Director bears overall responsibility for all safety matters. Management of the organization is responsible for the safety performance of the organization. All staff members of the organization have individual responsibility for their own actions in respect to safety. 

SAFETY ACHIEVEMENT. The organization will use all means, processes, procedures and resources to achieve the high-level safety objectives and safety performance targets taking into consideration the rout network and unique nature of air charter cargo operations of LLC “AeroStan” Air Company”.

SAFETY TRAINING CONTINUITY. All staff members of the organization receive necessary and mandatory safety training. Any event inside or outside the organization can be considered as a significant occurrence that require actions, changes and improvements of operational processes from Senior Management.

AVIATION SECURITY POLICY

LLC “AeroStan” Air Company” sets Aviation Security as a fundamental operational priority in all our operations.

We are committed to:

– comply with the requirements of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, regulations, security standards and recommended practices of ICAO, as well as company’s internal requirements and applicable regulations of states where our operations are conducted; 

– provide and use all available resources to protect our employees and customers from acts of unlawful interference;

– identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and threats to our operations;

– use internal security reporting system as a fundamental part of the Aviation Security Management System and involve all employees in this process by freely reporting security related issues;

– provide all necessary financial, human, material, equipment, training, and all other resources for the successful implementation of this Policy and Aviation Security Management System;

– maintain and constantly improve the quality management system in the field of aviation security by carrying out activities to ensure the effectiveness of aviation security measures, compliance with the requirements of applicable regulations in terms of ensuring aviation security;

– establish and maintain a high level of Security Culture by promoting security awareness of our employees and service providers through trainings, constant monitoring, and on-time notifications on security related issues;

– continually improve our Security Management System;

– ensure periodic, but not less than once a year, review and if necessary, revision of the Aviation Security Policy to guarantee its effectiveness and compliance with the requirements of the airline and National Civil Aviation Security Program;

– set security objectives within the company and achieve the goals, by introducing security performance standards, their close monitoring and implementation of necessary actions, if needed and improving operational security through identifying duties and responsibilities of managerial and non-managerial personnel.

QUALITY POLICY

Quality Policy of LLC “Aerostan” Air Company” is determined by its mission:

“Providing safe, efficient, economical and compliant air cargo services to meet our customers’ expectations in all aspects of our business.”

and is based on the following principles:

SENIOR MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT TO QUALITY. Senior Management of the airline ensures integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization’s business processes.

LEADERSHIP. Senior Management of the airline ensures that our management system conforms to the requirements of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and applicable international standards and that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained. Senior Management takes responsibility for implementation of this Policy and promotion of shared values, fairness and ethical behavior so that these sustained at all levels of the organization.

CUSTOMER ORIENTATION. Understanding of present and future needs of the customers and other interested parties contributes to achievement of sustained success by the organization. Meeting the needs of customers is a priority for us.

PROCESS APPROACH. Aerostan establishes the process approach that includes processes, interdependencies, constraints and resources to achieve consistent and predictable result of operations.

RISK-BASED APPROACH. Our airline plans and implements actions to address risks and opportunities in its operational processes and quality management system to put in place preventive controls to minimize negative effects.

EVIDENCE-BASED DECISION MAKING. Management of the airline make decisions based on open and honest consideration of data, non-compliances, information analysis and assessments. No punishment is guaranteed for persons reporting problems and deviations, and providing assistance in investigation of non-compliances.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. We use results of analysis and evaluation of operational performance to define objectives for improving our services, processes, structure and management system to anticipate and meet needs and expectations of interested parties more effectively.

AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT. All our staff members are aware of the Quality Policy, relevant quality objectives, the implications of not conforming with the quality management system requirements and of their contribution to the effectiveness of the quality management system, including benefits of improving own performance.

COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP. Development and support of open communication and transparent mutually beneficial relationships with customers, providers, other parties concerned as well as internal relationships in the airline, are the basis for robust continual improvement of quality management system.

COMPETENCE. Achievement of common success of the organization is based on continuous professional development of each employee and on effective exchange of information to ensure increasing expertise throughout the organization.
